Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company is an enterprise specializing in cement production and trading; exploitation, processing, trading and export of minerals. Key products of the company are cement PCB30, PCB40 and types of Carbonate cancium (CaCO3) powder

  • Cement products: Products PCB30 and PCB40 are used for normal and industrial construction works. These products have higher compression power than other PC cement products.

Cement PCB30:

  • Appropriate to Vietnamese standard 6260-1997
  • Starting time of setting: 120-150 minutes
  • Finishing time of setting: 3 hours – 3.5 hours
  • Compression intensity in 03 days: R3 = 18 – 20 KG/cm3
  • Compression intensity in 28 days: R28 = 30,5 – 35 KG/cm3

Cement PCB40:

  • Appropriate to Vietnamese standard 6260-1997
  • Starting time of setting: 120-150 minutes
  • Finishing time of setting: 3 hours – 3.5 hours
  • Compression intensity in 03 days: R3 = 22 – 24 KG/cm3
  • Compression intensity in 28 days: R28 = 41 – 43 KG/cm3

CaCO3 powder products: CaCO3 powder has its own chemical components and physical features appropriate to requirements of many industrial sectors, it can be made as additives for industrial sectors such as: papers, paint, plastic, rubber, chemic-cosmetics, aquaculture and materials for decoration in construction. Materials from CaCO3 with poorer quality can be material for cement production.

2.Marketing activity

With the motto of “Purest material and most modern technology for best products” is an advantage of products and services of the company in present period. To implement the above motto, the company continuously applies initiatives and technical advances in production to raise product quality. For products of CaCO3, the materials must be selected the best in term of technical requirements, invest modern processing technology and search to make new products with high quality to replace import goods and meet all requirements of customers. For cement products, the company is producing two key types of products: mixed Pooclang cement PCB 30, PCB 40 according to Vietnamese standard 6260:1997. Production searching of high grade cement PC 40 is stable to ensure difference grade level of finished cement for replacing central cement in the locality and changing habits of consumers.

Expansion policy
Therefore, YBC has consumption policies to promote competition as follows:

  • In term of promotion: Diversify healthy promotion forms to encourage consumption, but ensure regulations of the law Promotion level is calculated by the company based on production expense, capacity to carry out its profit plans and supply-demand relations in each locality for fixing reasonable selling price.
  • In term of trade promotion advertisement: Implement wide product advertisement in markets to help consumers clearly understand YBC's product types, the company has a strategy to hold familiar customers and draw new customers. Moreover, the company also participates in prestigious exhibition fairs in inside and outside of the country to introduce its products to domestic and regional consumers, especially South East Asian market. In addition to strengthening consumption of domestic products, the company makes export strategies for CaCO3 products to foreign markets in next periods when product demand in domestic market is saturated.
  • In term of sale service: The company sets up a part of customer care including information system to guide customers in term of price, service place and inform differences in features and quality of product types in order that customers can select its products in most effective way. In this service, the company will provide technical information and applications on its products as well as reply customers or implement services if necessary.

Brand name advertisement:
To maintain and increase stake in the localities and in existing enterprises, the company often broadcast its brand name through: Put large billboards; fund billboards for agents and retail stores where consumes its products; advertise on radio, newspapers, central and regional televisions; participate in Vietnamese goods fair with high quality for many years.
